It Feels Good to Win. Texas outlasts Colorado State Rams 13-7 in front of a packed Friday Night Crowd.

The No-Doubter MVP of this game for our Texas Longhorns was #12 the Goalie, Mr. Cian Levine. This man was stone-cold impenetrable all game and especially during the 1st half. The Texas Goalie was stuffing attackman right at the crease's doorstep, like a cement block. He even drew a yellow-flag man-up penalty on a clear and allowed very few goals despite ample CSU on-cage shot attempts. Cian was an imperative ball-handler in breaking the press and clearing the ball.  Literarily the only thing Mr. Goalie Levine did NOT do this specific game was score a goal. He carried us the 1st half. My fellow alumni agreed upon our goalie's all-star prowess and nodded in unison toward halftime.  Physically our opponent Colorado State was more of a quick and speedy team. The Rams appeared less burly in physique and shorter in stature. I think Texas's bigger players, size and depth eventually wore the CSU Rams down in the 4th quarter.  #1 Ranked Club, Utah Valley University Wolverines confidently win vs. Texas Horn's Lacrosse. UVU 18 - Texas 7.   Feb. 21st George Vance McGee online streaming viewer game-review Via You-Tube online live stream, the opening viewpoint of the field is that of green-colored and clean turf, surrounded by white as a ghost snow on the ground. The Horns last game of the Utah 2 game plane-trip.  Utah Valley U, (UVU) starts the game with a blitz, it's 5-0, before Texas wakes up. Texas responds with 2 goals to make it 5-2. Interesting tidbit about Utah Valley University Wolverines whose mere existence I'd yet to be aware of before today," Enrollment of 48,000 students making it the largest publicly enrolled university in the state. More Students than the more nationally well-known red & white Utah Utes.' I noticed the Texas Horn's player sideline appeared diminutive in physical numbers, compared to the stocked green and black home uniformed UVU. Our player bench look...

The TCU game Texas was winning 9-6 late in the 3rd quarter but was cancelled due to lightning weather.

The TCU game Texas was winning 9-6 late in the 3rd quarter but was cancelled due to lightning weather. Per official season records, "this game won't exist."  Feb. 14th. 2026.  George Vance McGee TX Lax Alumni Reporter georgevance@gmail.com  Per Our Texas Alumni & the honorable Mr. Tim Herfel on the TCU cancelled game due to lightning, rain and bad weather, "  A cancelled game is removed from the schedule as if it were never there ... There is also no obligation or requirement to reschedule...it is treated like a bye...no record --TH." So I was personally informed the Texas vs. TCU Frogs Men's Home Lacrosse game had been MOVED to Sunday Feb. 15th at 1 pm due to weather. (It should have been) To my surprise I noticed while just casually scrolling Facebook, the official Texas Men's Lacrosse team Facebook page stated Saturday 1pm was still Gameday and Game-on vs. TCU. This was news to me?  Next I stepped outside my own front door in South Austin and it w...

Unfortunately, this game ended in heartbreak as our Horns lost to the visiting Boston College Eagles Club Team in double overtime, 14–13. Yes = Double Overtimes. A Sluggish Start — On and Off the Field The Horns started a little sluggish, but once they found their rhythm, they really got going. The scoreboard, however, never quite did. After three or four attempts to revive the malfunctioning Caven Field scoreboard, it officially got fired. From that point on, the on-field referees ...

Texas Longhorn Lacrosse Crushes Baylor Bears on the Road in Waco, Texas. Final Score 22-4.

Texas Longhorn Lacrosse Crushes Baylor Bears on the Road in Waco, Texas. Final Score 22-4.   written by GVM in-person attendee. Date of game Feb. 6th, 2026 Click here for actual game photos courtesy of Baylor photographer "Lilly with a Camera."  All one really needs to know about this shellacking of a Win vs the Baylor Bears in Waco Texas is: while already up a very very quick 5-0 in the first quarter, the 6th goal for Texas was a "highlight ohhh & ah" behind the back shot goal, right on cage, right past the unsuspecting goalie. It was impressive, it was beautiful!  At this point most folks in the crowd knew  Texas Lacrosse was going to win, but the only lingering question would be, by how many goals? Would they get to 30 or 40 goals? It was 10-1 Texas, at the end of the 1st quarter. #26 for Texas, attackman had an excellent game. I vividly watched him perform an excellent assist back-up top to a trailing wide open middie, and then on the next play, #26 scored a...
